Hamilton Baskets · from Alberta
Send gift baskets to Hamilton from Alberta
Ordering from Alberta works exactly like ordering from Hamilton itself: the gift is assembled to order and couriered across Southern Ontario. The only differences are the clock, the tax and the age rule, and this page explains each.
Delivery timing for a Alberta buyer
The cut-off runs on Hamilton's clock: an order in by 2:00 p.m. Eastern on a weekday ships that day, and the courier delivers in one to three business days. Converted for September 21, 2026 into the time you keep:
| Time zone | Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. Eastern, weekdays) |
|---|---|
| Mountain (MDT) | 12:00 p.m. |
Today on this device, the 2:00 p.m. Eastern cut-off is — (your device's time zone: —).
Business days only: a home delivery usually lands by the end of the day, an office one within business hours. We do not deliver at weekends or on Oct 12, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1.
Check the recipient's postal code
Put in the postal code of the delivery address in Ontario. The answer comes from the same delivery service checkout uses: covered or not, and how long.
Remember: this wants the recipient's postal code — your own belongs with your billing details.
Two rules that don't travel with you from Alberta
A Alberta buyer pays Ontario's tax on an Ontario delivery, and the recipient is held to Ontario's age rule for alcohol. Both follow the delivery address:
Tax at checkout13% HST, Ontario's rate. At home in Alberta you'd see 5% GST only; here it's Ontario's.
Wine, beer and spiritsGifts without alcohol can be left without a signature.
The delivery feeWaived on orders over $100; smaller orders see the charge at checkout, priced by the recipient's postal code.
Their telephone numberBelongs with the delivery address; it's the number the courier will ring.
Who it's fromThe greeting card says so, in your words.

What the Alberta orders tell us
Looking at every order billed in Alberta and delivered in Ontario since the store's records begin: 71% to Hamilton and 2% to Welland. The median order is $135. February alone is 24% of the year. 4% go to a business address (the store as a whole: 15%).
With this many orders the figures above are a picture, not a ranking — which is why the grid shows the store's leaders rather than Alberta's. Figures are shares of orders paid for in Alberta and delivered in Ontario, 2023 to today; the median is the middle order, not an average.
